I am a male to female crossdresser i have a question for women?

why do most women wear only cotton pajamas as opposed to nylon nightgowns. i love nightgowns the are so comfortable. i hate cotton pajamas.

When it comes to sleeping, I'm not big on pj's with long legged pants. I prefer chemises most of the time, and long gowns in the winter. As for the cotton versus the rest, I've become hooked on cotton. Yes, nylon and satin feels nice, but the all around soft comfort of cotton can't be beat.

If you want pure luxury, choose silk. Years ago I had a black silk gown, with a red silk robe. The design was very simple, yet the sheen of the material and the depth of the colors made them absolutely beautiful. And talk about the ultimate in how it felt against my skin. Plus it was cool in the summer, but warm in the winter. At the time it was very expensive, and I had saved for months before finally buying myself this once in a lifetime treat. Every time I wore it, which was almost every night, I felt beautiful.

Cotton pj are totally comfortable. I love them. It seems like you're "dressing up" to wear something fancy just to sleep in. But, then, I'm kinda butch, so I might not be the person to ask.

I'd say warmth, and wear & tear.

How often do you wash your nightgowns....?

How oftend do you wash your nightgowns....should I wash my nylon nightgown after wearing it for two nights? (It is 97% nylon 3% spandex)

After three wears then it goes in the dirty clothes to be washed once

a week.

I change mine every 2 nights, and wash them the next day i have plenty so if for some reason i can't get to wash them the next day i have plenty to use.

Assuming that you shower every day, a fresh nightie every second night seems about right. That's what I do anyway.

If I had a husband I would always wear sexy night wear and other clothes too that I knew he liked. Trying to please your partner is what makes a great marriage.

It's probably a matter of practicality. See if you can get her to drop by a lingerie store to get something silky for those special occasions. Most nights she won't let you touch her much anyway and she can be comfortable in her PJ's. On the other nights though..........

How can i remove dry rotted elastic from nylon nightgowns?

Why are you keeping a nylon nightgown with rotten elastic? If the elastic is sewn to the gown, it will be time consuming and probably not worth the work.You will have to remove the elastic from the nylon with a seam ripper and stretch stitch new elastic onto nylon. If the elastic is enclosed in a casing, just make a small opening, cut the elastic and pull it out.

I need help to find the company called DREAM APPAREL's phone #. How do you get car oil out of cloth?

I had put my babys stroller in the trunk of my car and did not know my husband put the oil drainer in the trunk!!! So now i have oil on the cloth helo how do I get it off?

i found the best way to get oil out of any fabric is scrubbing the area with joy dish soap. I'd use an old tooth brush or any good scrubber for the job. Make sure you always do this BEFORE throwing anything into a washing machine. It seems like it sets if you wash it first. Good luck with getting the stain out!

Hopefully you can remove it to clean it. Wipe off the most of the oil with paper toweling and discard. Then use PINE SOL, not a look a like. Scrub it in, then wash in warm water with detergent with some more pine sol added. It has removed so much stuff for me over the years...my mom swore by it when my dad worked for Boeing. For smaller areas, I have used the orange goopy hand cleaner, scrubbing it in with a brush, then washing as usual. DO NOT put in dryer. Re wash until it is all removed. Dry with great care, and remove when slightly damp put back on stroller to completely finish drying....could shrink and not fit stroller any more.

try adding 2 cups of vinegar to your washload when washing the item see if the vinegar will get the oil out remember to add your laundry detergent as well.
